can I take a sibelius file and make it into a pdf? Or jpeg?
Posted by Sue Woodruff - 01 Mar 06:51AM
I am trying to make a website using iweb (mac)and would like to have short pieces I have written using Sibelius. I'm a teacher and don't need (at this point) the playback of scorch and also don't think my students will download it. So, I'm wondering if I can take a short piece and turn it into a pdf or jpeg.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes you can and easily!. If you have Mac, just use print command (CMD+P) and choose PDF option. If you have PC, there are many PDF converters in web you can download. Just Google "pdf converter". After that you can use CTRL+P command.

You can also use File > Export > Graphics to export your file - not to jpg or pdf, but to eps, tiff, or png. Perhaps these might work for you, or you might be able to then convert them to the format you want.

Hope this helps,

you can also hold the 'fn' key by the 'ctrl' button and look for the print screen button it should be around the 'home' or 'del' button in the top right corner of the keyboard. (fn+prt sc) and there will be a picture of your screen. edit it in paint and viola .jpg.
